※ Be careful to rub lightly on the thin part of the skin such as around the eyes.
STEP 4. If you experience dryness then spray facial mist intermittently during the peeling process. (Please only use normal hydration facial mist. Do not use facial mist that includes ingredients such as AHA, BHA, PHA, or oils.)
(If it doesn't feel dry you do not need to spray facial mist.)
STEP 5. Apply a mask sheet pack without cleansing the face, so that the particles of the spicule is properly stuck in the skin. (You can use any normal essence-type mask pack. Avoid using a mask pack with ingredients such as alcohol, AHA, BHA, PHA, or oils)
STEP 6. Take off the mask sheet pack after 10 minutes.
STEP 7. Do not use a cleanser, but wash the face with lukewarm water lightly. (Spicule should be stuck in the skin for a good result)

STEP 9. After washing your face each day, apply plenty of Medisco Peelieve Cica Cream to provide hydration and nutrition, and, drink a lot of water. Make sure to apply sunscreen carefully every day when you go out.
(If you are exposed to ultraviolet rays without applying sunscreen, blemishes may rise.)

STEP 9. According to the age, exfoliation starts approximately 7-10 days post-treatment. After the exfoliation begins, do not forcefully remove dead skin.
Q&A:
- Can it be used on areas other than the face and back (arms, hips, chest)?
- Yes, it can. To perform the treatment on arms, hips, and chest, please try with the medium peeling level first. (It is not recommended to use on the neck because the skin is very thin and exfoliation will be minimum.)
- When can I start washing your face or shower, after the treatment?
- On the day of getting the treatment, only light washing is possible. When performing the treatment on the back, please be sure to shower before peeling, and avoid showering on the day same day.
On the next day right after the treatment, you can start washing your face and shower with a cleanser or body wash. Still, need to avoid the products with have irritating ingredients such as alcohol, AHA, BHA, and PHA.
- Is it okay to apply other cosmetics instead of Cica cream after the treatment?
- After peeling, it is important to provide sufficient moisture and nutrition. Apply Medisco Peelieve Cica Cream regularly every day. Medisco Peelieve Cica Cream is a product designed to be suitable for post-peeling management, and if you use Medisco Peelive Cica Cream together after peeling, you may see better results.
(Medisco Peelive Cica Cream can be used alone.)
However, if you do not have Medisco Peelieve Cica Cream, use a mild moisturizing cream or body lotion. When the skin is dry, it becomes itchy and scratching can cause trouble, so be sure to moisturize so that it does not dry out. Moisture management should be done with care for 3 weeks – 1 month from the day of peeling.
- Is the treatment still effective if the dead skin cells do not fall off?
- Just because there is no exfoliation, it does not mean that there is no effect. In the case of mild exfoliation of dead skin cells, it cannot be seen with the naked eye. Even if the exfoliation of dead skin cells occurs weakly, there still will be a result from the skin repeating exfoliation and regeneration.
- The skin has darkened after peeling, is that okay?
- It is normal, for the skin becomes dull and dark after peeling. It is the process of exfoliation of dead skin cells, and as the dead skin cells are exfoliated, the skin becomes clear.
- Pimples appeared after peeling. What do I do?
- In the case of pimples, they appear due to the dead skin cells on the surface of the skin being exfoliated, and the sebum below the surface rises. Make sure not to squeeze it forcibly. It will subside naturally if you provide sufficient moisture and nutrition. If you forcefully squeeze the pimples while the skin is regenerating after exfoliation, it can scar.
- Do I need to visit the hospital when the blisters appear after getting the treatment?
- If the peeling is too strong it may cause reactions such as blisters, blisters, and oozing may occur. This is a natural part of the skin where an inflammatory reaction occurs temporarily to protect it after being irritated, and it disappears over time. However, in case of too severe blisters or oozing, be sure to visit a hospital. In order to avoid blisters or oozing, it must be used according to each individual's skin, so please read the instruction manual carefully and thoroughly understand how to use it.
- When can start wearing makeup?
- You can apply makeup starting the next day. After peeling, you may feel slight pain such as tingling or burning with the spicules infiltrated into the skin. When the pain subsides, you can apply makeup. In the case of heavy makeup, you must cleanse your face thoroughly so it is recommended to avoid too much makeup. Because the skin may become irritate during the process of intense cleansing.
- Is it effective with just one session?
- It depends on the condition of the skin, but you can feel that your skin is smooth and clear after just one use. You can see better results if you manage it by using peeling products regularly. However, please use it at least 4 to 8 weeks apart.
- Can I use the scrub products again after getting the peeling treatment?
- Dead skin cells are one of the barriers to protecting your skin and it is not good to exfoliate often.
Please use the scrub products after 4 weeks, at least.
- Is it good to wear gloves when rubbing?
- Gloves are optional.
You can wear gloves or not, but medium peeling is not really enough mixed solution so not recommended to wear it, as it may rub off on the gloves.
But, if someone rubs on the back, then recommend wearing gloves because the area is wide.
- Which types of mask sheet are preferred to use? Are there any recommended products?
- Please make sure to use a mild mask sheet that does not contain alcohol, AHA, BHA, PHA, or oil. A moisture mask pack or soothing mask pack is recommended, and it is even better if you put it in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes to soothe the heated skin before using it.
- How to store the rest powder and solution after a treatment?
- Seal the remaining powder and solution after performing one treatment using the rubber stoppers and plastic wrap, and store it in a cool place away from direct sunlight. Please use the opened product within 6 months. In the case of powder, there may be slight discoloration due to green tea powder ingredients. Avoid pre-mixing the powder and solution because they may harden.
- Can pregnant women get the treatment?
- The main ingredient in seaweed peeling is the spicule, which is the natural ingredient. It is not a component that is absorbed into the skin. However, we recommend trying first with the level of mild peeling treatment (1/3 of per vial).
Precautions:
- After the treatment, the treated area (face/ back) may become swollen and red, and you may experience stinging or pain. Nevertheless, those are the normal symptoms.
- The dead skin cells begin to form between 4-5 days (for arms, hips, and chest) and 7-10 days (for back) after the peeling treatment. It may feel itchy. Do not force the exfoliation.
- After getting the first peeling treatment, you must wait at least 4-8 weeks before getting another peeling treatment. (Even if the dead skin cells are barely formed and are invisible, the skin is repeatedly exfoliating and regenerating dead skin cells. Since irritated skin needs time to recover, you need to provide sufficient moisture and nutrition to take care of it.)
- If you are new to seaweed peeling, or if you have thin and dry skin, we recommend doing the performance with the level of medium peeling.
- During the peeling process, rub evenly so that the skin is not scratched. Apply even pressure when rubbing, and finish by pressing.
- On the day of getting the peeling treatment, avoid the activities that may irritate the skin, such as drinking alcohol, going sauna (steam bathing), and vigorous exercise.
- Supply sufficient moisture and nutrition to the skin before bedtime.
- Drink water frequently for good circulation and quick skin regeneration.
- Make sure to apply sunscreen when going out. If you are exposed to UV rays without applying sunscreen, blemishes may appear. (UV protection is extremely important.)
- Not recommended for use if you have diabetes.
- Except for performing the treatment for the face and back, we recommend performing the treatment with the level of medium peeling for arms, hips, and chest.
- Depending on the skin type, exfoliation may be fine or absent. (If the method of the treatment is wrong, the duration of treatment is short, or the amount of the ingredient used for the treatments is small, there may not have exfoliation or only a small amount of exfoliation may occur. If the amount of exfoliation is minuscule, it may not be visible.)
- If you have any allergies or other skin problems, we recommend testing with a small amount first.
